Il corso MS Nurse PRO è accreditato internazionalmente e in alcuni paesi offre accreditamenti nazionali specifici. Offre inoltre crediti per la formazione infermieristica agli studenti che concludono tutte le attività previste dal corso MS Nurse PRO. Ricordiamo che questo accreditamento è distinto dalla certificazione offerta, previo esame, dalla MSNICB (Multiple Sclerosis Nursing International Certification Board - Ente Internazionale per la certificazione Infermieri Sclerosi Multipla) con il sostegno della IOMSN (International Organization of Multiple Sclerosis Nurses – Società Internazionale Infermieri Sclerosi Multipla). Questa attività è stata sviluppata allo scopo di rispondere alle esigenze di formazione di infermieri e infermieri pediatrici interessati a ottimizzare la gestione dei pazienti affetti da SM. Gli obiettivi generali di MS Nurse Professional sono i seguenti: Migliorare la competenza e i risultati raggiunti dagli infermieri specializzati in SM in modo tale da poter rispondere agli standard nazionali ed europei stabiliti per la loro specializzazione, con conseguente impatto positivo sull'assistenza ai pazienti e sul loro benessere
I crediti ECM vengono attribuiti in seguito al completamento dell'intero programma e il loro conferimento dipende dall'espletamento di tutte le attività disponibili su MS Nurse Professional. Per una descrizione più dettagliata degli obiettivi specifici, vedere i singoli moduli.
