MS Nurse PRO biedt zeven uitgebreide e-learningcursussen, waarbij elke cursus zich richt op een ander aspect van MS en verpleegkundige zorg.

De eerste vijf cursussen vormen samen ons basisprogramma.

Voor elke voltooide cursus krijgen deelnemers een badge die in uw profiel wordt weergegeven. Een certificaat van voltooiing is ook beschikbaar om te downloaden na succesvolle afronding van elke afzonderlijke cursus in de sectie Certificaten in Mijn Leren.

Na succesvolle afronding van alle 5 cursussen binnen het Foundation Programme (Cursus 1, 2, 3, 4 en 5), worden studenten beloond met een certificaat van accreditatie en tot 30 uur aan credits voor permanente professionele ontwikkeling. Lees hier alles over onze accreditaties.

Course 1: Understanding Multiple Sclerosis (2024-)

This course provides the essential concepts and information required to answer patients’ questions about what causes their Multiple Sclerosis and how the disease will affect their future life.

Course 2: Clinical Presentation of Multiple Sclerosis (2024- )

This course reviews the different types of MS and their clinical features, including atypical presentation of the condition. Common symptoms will be discussed and defined, along with the prognosis of people with MS.

Course 3: Diagnosis and Assessment (2012-)

This course explains the diagnostic criteria for MS along with the associated diagnostic tools, their results and consequences in a manner that a nurse can easily understand and interpret, and then relay to a person who has MS.

Course 4: Treating Multiple Sclerosis (2023- )

Course 4 reviews the pharmacologic management of MS. It explores current disease modifying therapies (DMTs) and associated nursing issues. Symptom management is discussed with an emphasis on pharmacologic management.

Course 5: Care and Support (2012-)

This course examines the relationship of the person with MS and the nurse. Participants learn about the psychological and social impact MS can have on individuals and their families. This includes mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

This course highlights the importance and relevance of rehabilitation for the quality of life of people living with MS.

Basisprogramma MS Verpleegkunde: Cursus 1, 2, 3, 4 en 5

Het programma is een essentiële stap om een algemeen erkende MS-verpleegkundige te worden.

De volgende cursussen vormen deel uitmaken van ons kernprogramma MS Nurse PRO Foundation:

Cursus 2: Klinische presentatie van multiple sclerose
Cursus 3: Diagnose en beoordeling
Cursus 4: Behandeling van Multiple Sclerose
Cursus 5: Zorg en ondersteuning van PwMS

Ons Foundation Programme is geaccrediteerd door meerdere nationale en internationale instellingen, waaronder de ICN en RCN (zie onze accreditatiepagina voor meer informatie).

Nadat u alle cursussen binnen het Foundation-programma met succes hebt afgerond, inclusief het behalen van een slagingspercentage van ten minste 75% voor elk cursusexamen, kan een certificaat van accreditatie worden gedownload en afgedrukt in de sectie Certificaten in My Learning.

Revalidatie bij MS: cursus 1, 2 en 6

Revalidatie is een essentieel onderdeel dat moet worden meegenomen in de uitgebreide zorg voor alle mensen met MS.

Dit programma van de Stichting:

Behandelt de basis van wat multiple sclerose is (= Cursus 1: MS begrijpen);
Verklaart de klinische presentatie (= Cursus 2: Klinische presentatie van MS); en
Behandelt alle aspecten van MS-revalidatie, inclusief de verschillende soorten en methoden van revalidatie, het belang van het stellen van doelen en de verschillende manieren waarop revalidatie de persoon met MS kan helpen om thuis en op het werk optimaal te functioneren (= Cursus 6: Revalidatie bij MS).

Deze activiteit is ontwikkeld om te voldoen aan de onderwijsbehoeften van revalidatieprofessionals die geïnteresseerd zijn in het optimaliseren van de behandeling van mensen met MS. Het kan ook interessant zijn voor andere beroepsbeoefenaren in de gezondheidszorg die betrokken zijn bij revalidatiestrategieën bij MS.

Dit Foundation Programme on Rehabilitation in MS is niet geaccrediteerd.
