Die ersten fünf Kurse bilden unser Kernprogramm der Stiftung.

Für jeden abgeschlossenen Kurs erhalten Mitglieder ein Abzeichen, das in ihrem Profil angezeigt wird. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss jedes einzelnen Kurses kann auch ein Abschlusszertifikat heruntergeladen werden. Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss aller 5 Kurse im Rahmen des Stiftungsprogramms werden die Mitglieder mit einer Akkreditierungsbescheinigung und bis zu 30 Stunden Fortbildungspunkten belohnt.

Course 1: Understanding MS: Course

This course will provide the essential concepts and information required to answer patients’ questions about what causes their disease and how the disease will affect their future life.

Course 2: Clinical Presentation

This course reviews the different types of MS and their clinical features, including atypical presentations of the condition. Common symptoms are discussed and defined, along with the prognosis of people with MS.

Course 3: Diagnosis and Assessment (2012-)

This course explains the diagnostic criteria for MS along with the associated diagnostic tools, their results and consequences in a manner that a nurse can easily understand and interpret, and then relay to a person who has MS.

Course 5: Care and Support (2012-)

This course examines the relationship of the person with MS and the nurse. Participants learn about the psychological and social impact MS can have on individuals and their families. This includes mental health issues such as depression and anxiety.

Course 6: Rehabilitation in MS (2018-)

This course highlights the importance and relevance of rehabilitation for the quality of life of people living with MS.

Course 7: Research in MS Nursing Practice (2022-)

This course provides nurses with a clear understanding of the value of research and why it is important in MS nursing.

Course 4: Treating Multiple Sclerosis (2023-)

Course 4 reviews the pharmacologic management of MS. It explores current disease modifying therapies (DMTs) and associated nursing issues. Symptom management is discussed with an emphasis on pharmacologic management.

MS Nurse PRO bietet zwei Grundlagenprogramme:

Grundlagenprogramme: Unsere Kurse 1 bis 5 bilden unsere MS Nurse PRO Grundlagenprogramme. Dies ist ein wesentlicher Schritt auf dem Weg zu einer weithin anerkannten MS-Pflegekraft. Unser Grundlagenprogramm wurde von einer Vielzahl nationaler und internationaler Institutionen akkreditiert. Nachdem Mitglieder die Kurse 1 bis 5 abschließen und die Prüfung bestehen, erhalten sie ein Akkreditierungszeugnis, das heruntergeladen werden kann.
Grundlagenprogramm: Rehabilitation. Dieses Programm besteht aus Kurs 6. Nach Abschluss und Bestehen der Prüfung erhalten Mitglieder eine Plakette, die in ihrem Profil angezeigt wird, und ein Abschlusszertifikat, das heruntergeladen werden kann.
