If you're passionate about supporting people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and want to turn your knowledge into meaningful action, the MS Nurse PRO and Birmingham City University are offering a unique chance to do just that.

We offer a 3-month, tutor-supported programme: "Enhancing Theory into Practice in MS Care", tailored for those who want to make a lasting impact on MS care.

You can enroll in the programme at Bachelor or Master’s degree level.

The programme gives you the tools to bridge the gap between theory and practice. The programme supports you to implement real change within your service.

This flexible work-based learning programme empowers you to take your ideas and implement them within your service, improving care for those living with MS.

Not sure where to start to implement change in your service? Don’t worry! This programme guides you through the process of shaping your thoughts into actionable projects, all with expert support from experienced MS professionals.

Key Course Features


• Tailored Learning: Choose to study at either Bachelor (Level 6) or Master’s (Level 7) level.
• Virtual Teaching: Participate in group sessions covering essential skills like conducting literature searches, critically analyzing research, and developing a business plan to improve MS care.
• One-on-One Support: Receive personalized tutoring to help you refine your ideas and work towards submitting a project-based assignment.
• Academic Resources: Access to Birmingham City University’s (BCU) virtual resources and library, ensuring you have the academic backing you need to succeed.


What You’ll Achieve


On successful completion, you’ll earn 20 UK University credits (6-8 ECTS) and receive a certificate from MS Nurse PRO with ICN accreditation. Plus, you’ll develop an action plan that you can implement within your service, either as a poster or journal-style article, giving you the chance to publish your project.


This isn’t just a course – it’s an opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of people with MS by applying your knowledge and skills to real-world service improvements.
