127 nurses complete our international survey on neuroscience workload. We will soon publish the results and advocate for improved conditions for nurses caring for PwMS. Our abstract has been accepted for a digital poster presentation for ECTRIMS 2024. Expect more news in October 2024.
The results of the survey will allow MS Nurse PRO to advocate for improved working conditions for nurses caring for Persons with Multiple Sclerosis (PwMS).
This is a survey for nurses caring for people with multiple sclerosis (PwMS) and can be completed by you if you work part-time or full-time with PwMS..
Language: Available in 10 languages (English, Deutsch, Italiana, Nederlands, Français, Español, Polski, Română, Česky and Magyar).
Deadline: The survey has been closed end June 2024 and we aim to publish the results before end of the year.
Number of completers (July 2024): 127 (it takes 11 minutes to complete the survey)
The objective of this survey:
✅Gain an insight into your current work setting.
✅Gain an insight into your current workload.
✅Understand the specific tasks you undertake as part of your management of PwMS.
✅Understand the work that is left 'undone' when managing your PwMS.
✅Ascertain your opinion on different solutions that could be implemented to address the work that is left 'undone'.

Despite increases in the number of MS specialist nurses, caseloads across the UK have significantly increased from previous surveys. The mean caseload is 472 people with MS per WTE
