Advance Your MS Expertise in Europe with the ECTRIMS Fellowship for Nurses and Allied Health Professionals

Are you a nurse dedicated to improving the lives of people living with multiple sclerosis (MS)? Do you want to deepen your clinical expertise, explore research opportunities, and work alongside leading MS specialists in Europe? The European Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis (ECTRIMS) is pleased to announce the opening of its 2026 Nurse Training Fellowship, designed exclusively for nurses looking to expand their skills in MS care.

Why Apply?

This fellowship offers nurses the chance to gain practical, hands-on experience in MS clinics or research centres across Europe. Whether your focus is clinical care, patient support, or MS rehabilitation, the programme is designed to help you develop new skills and broaden your professional perspective in a mentored environment.

ECTRIMS aims to foster excellence in MS care by supporting nurses who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people with MS.

What the Fellowship Offers

Selected fellows will receive a generous fund, with training placements lasting up to 12 months. The fellowship is open to nurses from around the world, provided the training takes place in Europe.

If you are already based in Europe, you are strongly encouraged to seek training outside your current city or country—promoting collaboration and the exchange of best practices across borders.

Additional support is available for nurses focusing on MS rehabilitation, in partnership with the Rehabilitation in Multiple Sclerosis (RiMS) network.

Ready to apply?

Mark your calendar: the application period for the 2026 cycle opens on Friday 1 August 2025. For more information and to view past host institutions, visit the ECTRIMS website.
