Share Your Voice: Living with MS in Today’s Healthcare System

Are you living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS)?
This call is for you.

MS Nurse PROfessional is looking for people with MS (PwMS) who are willing to share their personal experiences of navigating the healthcare system in their country.

We want to hear from you:

  • Do you have access to a nurse specialised in MS care?
  • Are you supported by a multidisciplinary team (neurologist, nurse, physiotherapist, psychologist, occupational therapist, social worker)?
  • Do you experience care that is well-coordinated, efficient, and easy to navigate?
  • Does your care team provide the support you need to manage symptoms and remain active in work, family, and social life?
  • Do you have adequate access to support services when you need them?
  • Does your healthcare system offer digital tools to simplify appointments, access test results, or reduce administrative burden?

If you benefit from any of these, your testimony would be of great help.

Why Your Testimony Matters

MS Nurse PROfessional is preparing a policy roundtable with European and national politicians, policymakers, and healthcare stakeholders. The goal is to address systemic challenges in MS care and present recommendations that can improve both patient outcomes and nurses’ working conditions.

Your testimony as a person living with MS can help us:

  • Show the value of integrated care: When people with MS are supported by a coordinated team, treatment is not only more effective but also more holistic—addressing both medical and everyday needs.
  • Highlight the impact of access: Many PwMS report difficulties accessing rehabilitation, psychology, or social support services. Your experience can illustrate why easy access to these resources across Europe is essential.
  • Support change for future patients: By voicing what has helped you—and what remains difficult—you contribute to shaping recommendations that will make healthcare systems more supportive, accessible, and responsive.

A Call for Contribution

If you are living with MS and feel ready to share your perspective, we invite you to contribute your testimonial. Whether positive or critical, your story will help policymakers understand what people with MS truly need in order to live fuller lives and receive the care they deserve.

Contact MS Nurse PROfessional to share your experience and help us advocate for better MS care across Europe.
